Welcome to HealthyFat.com
Specializing in maximizing energy level,
healthy & enjoyable weight control, and lowering blood cholesterol and blood sugar
As a scientist, I know a huge amount
of useful & interesting nutrition research that the public is
unaware of- my goal is to bring you this information so that you
can see how enjoyable and rewarding healthy eating can be. I majored
in nutritional biochemistry in both college and graduate school,
and since then have carried out scientific research on heart
disease, fat nutrition, and cancer.
Public health experts endorse oversimplified nutrition policies
that are intended to be applicable to everyone, but specific for
noone. Individuals differ in their digestion, metabolism, physiology,
cultural preferences for foods, and eating habits. I believe that
individuals should take an active role in creating a healthy lifestyle
and choosing foods suited to their personal needs. I offer personal
consultations in the San Francisco Bay Area to fill this need.
I offer a wide range of seminars
and workshops for corporations and nonprofit organizations. You can
view my calendar to see what's coming up.

I've written the book, Fat is
Not the Enemy, in order to provide an accessible and accurate
account of scientific research on fat nutrition and on the relationships
between dietary fats and heart disease, diabetes, weight control, and
cancer. This book offers a balanced perspective on fat nutrition and
health that is firmly grounded in scientific evidence, and is not skewed
by a stake in any particular nutrition camp, political interests, or
the food industry.
You can use the links above or here to get basic information on dietary
good fats & bad fats, and good
foods & bad foods. More information can be found in excerpts from my book: from the
Introduction, from
Chapter 1- Calories, Not Fat, Make People Fat, from Chapter
2- Fitness Is As Important as Fatness, from Chapter
3- Heart Disease, Diabetes, and Fat, and from Chapter
11- Help With Hypoglycemia.
